CASE SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

The Committee to Aid Somali Education (CASE) has established a scholarship program for students attending Amoud University and Hargeisa University. To be eligible for the CASE Scholarship a student must be nominated by the University. Here are the other general eligibility, selection and application requirements.

Eligibility:

Financial need/Must be from a poor family
Good academic achievement
Recognized Contribution to the Community

Submissions (should be forwarded to our representative named below):

a) A letter describing the reasons why you would be worthy recipient of the scholarship
b) Two letters of reference, one of which must be from a teacher from your university the other must be from an individual, other than your teacher, who is familiar with your community service.
c) Provide two photographs of yourself

Process:

Submissions will be reviewed by the CASE Representative in Borama. The recipient will be notified by the Committee to Aid Somali Education in the U. S. You can reach the CASE representative at:
